Please help to support my Project
"The Lonely Chairs "
Share the link or donate to the cause and help to create a voice and a place of healing for survivors outside of domestic violence !!!!
Be one of the first to own your very own lonely chair , from landscape designs to abstract bold colours there's something for everyone
So far I have received a small grant from the Awesome foundation and am very happy the lake Macquarie DV committee are on board as well as gaining support from lake Macquarie council the lonely chairs exhibition is well into works and set to launch September 2023
There is a lot of background work and expenses involved in making an exhibition , auction and workshop for these chairs to reach the public so I'm asking for help from my community to make these things happen. We can bring awareness …
Thankyou for supporting the Lonely Chairs !!!! The Lonely Chairs is an ART project bringing awareness to domestic violence and promotes healing through ART, each Chair found or donated ,restored into a beautiful ART piece , the Chairs will be exhibited and auctioned ,profits will go towards a workshop where survivors can come and paint there own Lonely chair as a way to help heal individuals trauma ,alongside with individuals stories there artwork will be displayed on social media and published giving survivors a voice whilst there is choice to remain anonymous and just be identified by there art and promote for a better understanding to better help reduce the high statistics of violence in Australia
